The value

More capacity. A clearer commercial picture.

The opportunity is in work your team already does. Reduce repeated administration, expose gaps before they become expensive and give people more time for the next project.

For builders

Know what the price includes.

Work through drawings, quantities, supplier exclusions and design changes before committing to a price.

Start with a quote comparison

For property developers

Make the next decision clearer.

Compare site and development options. Bring the evidence, assumptions and financial sensitivities into one view.

Start with an opportunity

For general contractors

Keep the whole team aligned.

Turn correspondence, progress updates and cost changes into a clear report with actions and owners.

Start with project reporting

What we can deliver

What is on your agenda?

Ten questions construction businesses regularly face. Bring the one that matters most to you; we’ll scope a useful first piece of work and agree how to judge the result.

Find the next profitable growth opportunity

The question: Where should we grow next: a new region, a new customer group, another product or a business acquisition?

What we can do together: Compare demand, competitors, capacity and commercial assumptions. Take away a ranked opportunity shortlist, a practical test plan and the evidence behind the recommendation.

Win more of the work you actually want

The question: Are we pursuing the right leads and tenders, and making the most of the enquiries we already receive?

What we can do together: Review the pipeline and past wins and losses. Improve bid selection, proposals, customer presentations and follow-up, with a clear process for your team to approve and use.

Decide which sites and projects stack up

The question: Should we buy, develop, redesign, stage or walk away from this opportunity?

What we can do together: Bring site information and your objectives. Compare options, preliminary yield, costs, revenue and funding assumptions in a scenario model, with sources, sensitivities and investigations still needed.

Find where profit is leaking

The question: Why are margins below plan, and which savings would make the biggest difference without hurting delivery?

What we can do together: Work through job costs, overheads, rework, software spend and estimate-to-actual differences. Build a prioritised savings plan with owners, evidence and a way to measure the result.

Get better value from purchasing

The question: Are we buying the right things, at the right price, with the right terms and delivery dates?

What we can do together: Compare supplier and subcontractor quotes on a like-for-like basis. Find gaps, duplicated spend and opportunities to combine demand, then prepare a negotiation brief and purchasing schedule for approval.

Make design changes with the full picture

The question: What does this design choice change in the drawings, quantities, price and construction sequence?

What we can do together: Compare model or drawing revisions, explore buildability and material alternatives, and prepare coordinated change summaries and updated outputs. Your design professionals review and approve the technical work.

Keep projects moving with the capacity you have

The question: What is likely to delay delivery, and how many projects can we realistically take on?

What we can do together: Connect programme dependencies with crews, equipment, approvals and long-lead purchases. Produce a practical look-ahead plan and capacity scenarios, with the decisions and owners needed to keep work moving.

See cash pressure early and recover money owed

The question: When will cash get tight, and are missed variations, claims or invoices leaving money behind?

What we can do together: Build a rolling cash-flow view from project milestones, receivables and commitments. Reconcile supporting records and prepare variation, claim and invoice drafts for your authorised team to check and issue.

Take recurring administration off the team

The question: Why are capable people repeatedly chasing files, retyping updates and assembling the same reports?

What we can do together: Map one recurring process across email, spreadsheets and project systems. Create a useful search, reporting or document workflow, with permissions, review steps and a clear handover.

Build an AI-capable business

The question: Which AI tools should we use, where should we start, and how do we get the team confident enough to use them?

What we can do together: Prioritise practical opportunities, set up approved tools and work through real tasks with your people. Leave a short adoption plan, reusable instructions, named owners and measured results instead of another unused software rollout.

A simple example

Three quotes. One clearer decision.

A lower total may exclude delivery, use different quantities or leave out installation. We make those differences visible.

How we work

Your project. A shared working session. A result you can use.

FDE means “forward-deployed engineer”: a technical specialist working directly with your team to solve the work in front of you.

  1. 01 · Define

    Choose valuable work.

Agree the task, source information, reviewer and budget. Record how you do it today so we have a useful comparison.

  2. 02 · Deliver

    Build and check the result.

Use your existing tools where practical. Carry out the analysis or build the workflow, then check it against the source material.

  3. 03 · Keep

    Leave the capability with you.

Hand over the output, method and working record. Agree ownership and support for any tool before building it.

Judge the value after checking the work. Compare time, quality and usefulness with your normal process, including review and correction. Time released becomes commercial value when you can put it to use.

Two ways to start

Start small. Go where the value is.

Begin with weekly working sessions, or bring a defined project for dedicated delivery. No large software programme is required to get started.

Recommended starting point

Weekly working sessions

$1,000per month + taxes where applicable

One hour, every week.

Work with BuildWorld on a real task. Learn what AI can do for your business and identify where deeper work is worthwhile.

  • A one-hour session every week, including five-session months
  • Hands-on work with you or your project lead
  • A short record of outputs, assumptions and next steps
  • Bob working across your company’s projects: everything in Bob’s Build plan, up to 30 projects, every drawing unlocked
Start weekly sessions

Substantial work between sessions, wider team training and software costs are agreed separately.

Dedicated delivery

Hands-on AI engineering

$2,000per day + taxes where applicable

An AI engineer alongside your team.

Dedicated time for deeper analysis, system connections, useful tools or automation of a proven workflow.

  • A defined outcome and agreed allocation of days
  • Checks and documentation suited to the work
  • Handover and a clear support arrangement where needed

Why BuildWorld

We build with the methods we teach.

BuildWorld uses AI to automate how homes are made, from design and documentation to sourcing, fabrication and assembly, so homes can be built at the cost of materials plus assembly. Our own work connects property evidence, building models, quantities, drawing generation and visualisation.

That hands-on development informs the service we bring to your team. We combine software and AI engineering with your construction knowledge, work through the task together and leave you with the method and evidence.

Before we start

Practical questions. Clear answers.

Do we need to know how to use AI?

No coding experience is needed. Bring someone who understands the project and can judge the result. We explain the process and work through the task together.

Will we need new software?

We start with the tools and files you already use. Some tasks may benefit from an approved AI subscription or a supported connection to your software. We discuss access and costs before proceeding; connecting every system is not a prerequisite.

Can we work together wherever we are based?

Yes. Sessions are remote and we agree a suitable weekly time. Your team and local advisers supply or verify the regulations, contracts and professional requirements that apply to your work.

How is our project information handled?

We agree confidentiality, approved tools, data handling and access before sharing project information. We can begin with a small, approved set of files. Connections to business systems are made with your permission and appropriate access controls.

Who checks and approves the work?

Every task has a named reviewer. Estimates, design documents, contracts and external commitments remain subject to your usual professional checks and approvals. Our AI engineering service supports that work; it does not provide local statutory design certification.

What happens if we build a tool?

Before starting, we agree what it should do, who owns the deliverables, the source files and documentation to hand over, and any software licence or support arrangements. Your data remains yours. We keep the expected maintenance cost visible.

Let’s start with your work

What would you like to move forward?

Tell us about one task or project. We’ll discuss the opportunity and a sensible starting point.
