Browsing these pages

The company pages are hosted on Firebase Hosting. Your browser requests page files, images, typefaces and video from hosting infrastructure, which receives the technical information needed to serve those requests, including your IP address.

Advertising cookie

We advertise on Google. If you choose Accept on our cookie notice, these pages and Bob load the Google tag, which sets a Google Ads cookie so we can tell which ads bring people here and whether they then start designing, create an account or start a plan. Google receives the page you visited, the ad you clicked, those events and technical information such as your IP address, and processes it under its own privacy terms. Choose No thanks and nothing from Google Ads is loaded. Your choice is kept in your browser; to change it, clear this site’s data in your browser and the notice will ask again. We do not use an analytics script and we do not send your name, email or designs to Google Ads.

Enquiries and client onboarding

The enquiry form on the AI engineering page prepares an email draft in your browser. Those enquiry fields are not uploaded or stored by that form. You decide whether to send the draft.

The separate onboarding form at /fde/start submits your name, email, company, billing country, optional first priority, selected weekly session, time zone and acceptance of the service terms to BuildWorld. We use this information to arrange and administer the requested service. It is stored in a private Google Cloud bucket and accessed through an authorised staff account. Choosing a time and continuing holds a weekly slot during payment. Completing Stripe checkout starts a monthly subscription; verified payment triggers Google Calendar invitations. Abandoned checkouts do not book paid sessions.

Onboarding records are held while we arrange or provide the service and for relevant business, tax and legal recordkeeping afterwards. We review inactive enquiries for deletion. You can request access, correction or deletion at jon@buildworld.ai; we will explain any records we must retain. We do not add you to a marketing list through this form.

Anti-abuse controls retain limited request counts, keyed by hashed contact or network identifiers. The form uses a short-lived signed session token. Do not include confidential project files, personal records about others or credentials. We agree a suitable sharing method separately.

Stripe processes payments, billing addresses, tax identifiers, invoices and subscriptions under its own privacy terms. Google Calendar processes meeting invitations, attendee names and email addresses, and meeting details. Our onboarding records are stored securely in the cloud; these providers may process data in other countries. The browser keeps a private signup-receipt token for the current tab session so you can safely return from payment. We do not collect card details or bank passwords. Authorised staff sign in to the client register using Google and Firebase Authentication.

Bob, Design and Build

Bob (buildworld.ai/keys) runs in your browser and sends your plan and settings to our design service, hosted on Google Cloud, to think the house through. When you look up an address, Bob sends it to mapping and public land and planning data services (such as Mapbox, OpenStreetMap services and government planning and land data services) to find the site. When you use the AI designer or talk with Bob, what you type, any file you add (photos, site plans, surveys, sketches) and your design are sent to Anthropic, our AI provider, to produce the reply. Accounts sign in with Google through Firebase Authentication; your saved plans, project and the files you add are stored in Google Cloud; Stripe processes Design and Build payments and billing details. On Build, the email Bob sends and receives for your project at bob@buildworld.ai is stored with your project and processed by our AI provider to draft replies; Bob sends nothing new on your behalf without your approval. We do not sell your plans or add you to a marketing list.

Working together

Before starting project work, we agree confidentiality, approved tools, data access and handling with you. Ask us about these arrangements before providing project files. Your project data remains yours.

Other applications and external links

Design workspaces, account services and external research sites operate separately from these public company pages. Their data handling depends on the application and the features you use. The existing Revit add-in privacy policy remains available separately; contact us to confirm the terms for your product version or engagement.
