1. The service

Bob is BuildWorld’s home design and building assistant at buildworld.ai/keys. Anyone may play with Bob free, and talk with Bob after signing in, within the limits shown in the app. Design and Build are monthly subscriptions that add the features in section 2. You need a Google account to sign in. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. AI engineering (weekly sessions) is a separate service under its own service terms.

2. What each plan includes

Design: Bob as your architect (Bob designs and refines the house with you from your site and brief, reads the site information you give, researches the site and its local rules, and remembers your project); the house in 3D, plan and elevations with its price; saved plans for up to three projects; and up to twenty AI designs a day. Design does not include the planning or working drawings, or the packs made from them.

Build: everything in Design, and Bob as your developer and project manager: a build programme that Bob keeps up to date; the planning and working drawings, the quote pack, shop drawings and the joinery package, released as your build reaches the stage that needs them (you can ask Bob for a set earlier); an email address for your project through which Bob corresponds with suppliers, councils, engineers and builders; a daily check-in that follows up what is open; and guidance as an owner-builder or help finding a builder. We may improve or change features; we will not materially reduce what your plan includes during a period you have paid for.

3. The Design free trial

A new Design subscription starts with ten days free. You give a payment card when you start. If you cancel before the ten days end, you are not charged. If you don’t, the subscription converts automatically to the paid plan when the trial ends and you are charged 49 a month from then. One free trial per person: we may decline a trial where you have had one before. Build has no free trial.

4. Price, taxes and payment

Design costs 49 and Build costs 249 per month, in the currency shown for your billing country. These are fixed prices, not exchange-rate conversions, and they exclude taxes. Stripe Checkout shows the currency, applicable taxes and total before you pay. Your subscription renews monthly on the same date until cancelled. Stripe processes your payment; we do not see or store your card details.

5. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from your billing page. Your plan continues to the end of the period you have paid for (or the end of your free trial) and then stops; we do not refund part months. Download any plans and documents you want to keep before the period ends.

6. When Bob acts for you

On Build, you authorise Bob to correspond about your project from its project email address and to prepare documents. Bob will ask for your approval before sending anything new on your behalf, before any submission or anything with legal effect, and before anything that costs money. Bob does not sign contracts, make payments or accept terms for you. You remain responsible for the decisions you approve and for the accuracy of the information you give.

7. Bob is not a builder

Bob and the AI designer are AI systems, and they can make mistakes. Bob is not a registered builder, engineer or certifier, and Design and Build are not building contracts, engineering certification or statutory approvals. Site information Bob finds comes from public sources and what you provide; it is not a survey. Drawings, prices and packs are produced automatically for design development, planning and pricing; they are not for construction until the appropriate licensed professionals have reviewed and signed them off, and prices reflect the current price book, which changes. Owner-builder guidance is general information, not legal advice. Building your home is quoted and contracted separately, in writing, with a licensed builder or under your own owner-builder approval.

8. Your plans and information

Your plans are yours. We store them, the files you give Bob and the messages Bob sends and receives for your project, to provide the service, including when our team helps with your build. We do not sell them. Bob sends what you type, the files you add, your design and your project correspondence to our AI provider to produce replies. See the privacy notice.

9. Fair use

Use Bob for your own homes and projects. Do not scrape it, overload it, resell access or use it to build a competing service. We may limit or suspend accounts that do, and refund any unused paid period when we end a subscription for reasons other than a breach.

10. Your rights

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded. Tell us promptly if something is wrong so we can put it right.

11. Changes and contact

If we change these terms, we will tell you before the change applies to your next period; you can cancel if you don’t agree. Contact jon@buildworld.ai about billing, cancelling or anything in these terms.
