AI engineering · Service terms
Clear expectations. A useful working relationship.
These terms explain the weekly sessions and separately agreed engineering work provided by GBD Group Pty Ltd, trading as BuildWorld.
Version 17 October 2026
1. Getting started
These terms apply to business clients engaging GBD Group Pty Ltd (BuildWorld, we or us). You must have authority to act for the business you name. Choose a weekly session and complete secure checkout to start the monthly engagement. Payment starts the engagement; a calendar invitation confirms the meeting details. The form alone does not start billing. If payment succeeds but a scheduling conflict prevents confirmation, we will arrange an acceptable alternative promptly or cancel and refund the payment at your request.
2. Weekly working sessions
The starting service is $1,000 per month, plus taxes where applicable, for one remote hour every week, including months with five sessions, and a short working record of outputs and next steps. We agree the first priority together. The fee does not include unlimited implementation between meetings, wider team training, third-party licences, travel or professional certification.
3. Additional engineering
Dedicated work is $2,000 per day, plus taxes where applicable, unless a different scope and fee are agreed in writing. A delivery day means up to eight working hours. Before work starts, we agree the deliverables, allocation, review process, third-party costs and any ongoing support. We will not incur additional charges without your agreement.
4. Prices, taxes and payment
The monthly fee is 1,000 in the currency displayed for your billing country. These are fixed local prices, not exchange-rate conversions. Stripe checkout states the currency, applicable taxes and total before you pay. Use your actual billing country and address; contact us before paying if they differ from your selection. Your bank may charge its own currency-conversion fees. Payments are made to GBD Group Pty Ltd through the method stated on the invoice or checkout. We never ask for bank passwords or card details in the onboarding form.
For online signup, your first payment is taken at checkout and renews on the same monthly billing cycle until cancelled. Your first weekly session is selected within the next seven days. We reserve the recurring weekly time and issue calendar sessions for the paid service period, extending them as monthly payments succeed. If payment fails, we contact you to resolve it; future unpaid sessions may be paused. Separately agreed invoiced engagements follow their written payment arrangements. We will not change an active price or introduce extra fees without your agreement. Payment-provider fees, if any are passed on, must be disclosed before payment.
5. Scheduling and cancellation
Your selected weekly time is fixed in UTC+8, which has no daylight saving. The signup displays times in your chosen time zone; local daylight-saving changes may shift that displayed time. Availability is Monday to Friday, 6am to 8pm UTC+8, with the last one-hour session starting at 7pm. Public holidays or later calendar conflicts may require an agreed adjustment. Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to move a session where possible. We will work reasonably with you to reschedule; neither party can assume unlimited rollover or availability. If we cannot supply an included session, we arrange a replacement or a fair credit or refund.
You can stop the monthly service before the next renewal by emailing jon@buildworld.ai, or through the secure Stripe billing portal linked from the signup page. There is no cancellation fee. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless we agree an earlier date. You retain the remaining included sessions. If we end the service early for reasons other than your material breach, we refund the unused portion. Any additional project has its own agreed cancellation arrangements.
6. Your information and access
You retain ownership of your data and must have permission to share it. Provide accurate source information and a person who can review the work. We agree approved tools, access and data handling before connecting systems or sharing confidential project material with an AI service. Do not send passwords, sensitive personal records or confidential project files through the public onboarding form.
Both parties keep non-public business information confidential and use it for the engagement. Necessary disclosures to agreed service providers or as required by law are permitted with appropriate safeguards. We do not use your project information to train our own general models or sell it as a dataset without separate written permission. AI-provider processing is governed by the tools and settings agreed for the work.
7. Outputs, ownership and professional review
We provide services with reasonable care and skill. AI can make mistakes; sources, assumptions and material uncertainties should remain reviewable. You and your appointed professionals approve estimates, designs, legal documents, statutory submissions, financial decisions and external commitments. Our service does not replace licensed professional advice or certification, and no particular saving, revenue increase or approval is guaranteed.
You may use and adapt the paid-for deliverables for your business. Your existing material remains yours. We retain our pre-existing methods and reusable tools, and provide the rights reasonably needed to use them within the agreed deliverable. Third-party licences continue to apply. Ownership, source-code handover and support for bespoke software are agreed in the project scope before development starts.
8. Issues and remedies
Tell us promptly if something is wrong so we can investigate and put it right. We will discuss correction, replacement, rescheduling or an appropriate refund according to the circumstances. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms do not impose an unlimited indemnity or prevent either party using a competent court or regulator.
9. Changes and contact
The version accepted for your engagement remains the starting point. Material changes require your agreement; publishing a new page does not silently change an existing contract. A specifically agreed written scope prevails over a conflicting general term, subject to mandatory law. Contact jon@buildworld.ai for billing, cancellation, privacy or service questions.
